Abandoned Blog?

Is this an abandoned blog? A question everyone visiting probably asks when they notice the last entry is October 2013.

Answer ~ Yes and No.

Life has taken us down unexpected roads. Starting with when we didn’t renew our rental agreement and went to a month to month lease they put the house up for sale. Leasing company said they would give us a 30 day notice when the house sold but we had to let realtor that want to view the house come in with as little as 15 minute notice. From there we moved in with my parents. While living I became very ill. Like couldn’t get out of bed, multiple doctors appointment a week, along with at least one major testing. After 6 months of that doctors were able to give names to 5 different ‘disorders’ that all came on at once after an ovarian cyst burst. After living at my parents for 2 years we built our own house and moved in.

Life was going great. Then Hurricane Harvey hit. Our wonderful little home received 3 feet of water inside. Nine months later and we are still working on repairs. Only a few big items left: shower in downstairs bathroom, piece of counter top that got broke, painting walls and doors, dishwasher, ¼ round. We have pulled through and it has made us stronger.
